As “The Voice of West Virginia”, MetroNews processes tons of news stories each and every day.  Between the on-air talent, the news team, the sports team, and features like Outdoors, the volume of content – both writing and video – on the MetroNews site is enormous.  Pikewood Creative developed a more stream-lined site for the MetroNews viewer.  Current news articles are featured prominently, and the sections within the site are now very easy to get to, allowing users with varying interests to find the news they want more easily.  Talk shows are streamed, allowing viewers to listen and/or watch their favorite on-air personalities.  And from the business side, advertising opportunities were maximized in an appealing way for visitors to the site.
