Change your clothes. Change your world. SustainU is an American clothing company that produces high performance apparel using fabrics made in the USA from 100% recycled materials to provide extraordinary comfort and wear, while reducing environmental waste, carbon emissions and water use.
This corporate video production promotes the SustainU brand while creating awareness about the manner in which textiles are produced in the current global economy. The concept behind the SustainU brand is creating new, useful, and quality products from what would otherwise be trash. In keeping with this idea, all the footage was shot (in high definition) at an old, abandoned warehouse that was last used during World War II. With the old factory as the backdrop, the message of how we can change the world by wearing recycled clothes was captured. The process started with a comprehensive script. We worked closely with SustainU staff to summarize the facts and establish each scene.
Once all the footage was shot and digitized, we started the post production process. PF Hoe was used to track the camera movements of the various scenes. The data was then used to create effects to compliment and visualize the topics. Custom graphics were added throughout to the piece to help tell the story and promote the SustainU brand.
