MORGANTOWN, W.V. — Pikewood Creative, a full-service video production facility located in Morgantown, has been named winner of an Aurora Award. The Gold Award was presented for Pikewood’s video entitled “The Advantages of Cold Rolled Strip Steel†which was produced for the Greer Steel Company.
The Aurora Award recognizes individuals in the film and video industries who have achieved the ability to captivate their audiences with the displays produced from their own creative forces. Competitors come from private and corporate production groups, advertising agencies and television stations. Entries have come from across the US, and abroad such as Canada, Hong Kong, Denmark, and Mexico.
Some of the companies that received honors this year include: Fox News Channel, Spike TV, Wells Fargo Bank, and the American Dental Education Association.
