Substance abuse is at an epidemic level in West Virginia and across the country. Drugs are the leading cause of accidental deaths in the state. As part of the Governor’s Drug Free Workforce initiative, WorkForce West Virginia will require drug testing before providing services to those seeking employment. This will ensure that employees are drug free and ready to work.
Face Your Future is a statewide program to communicate awareness in regard to the issue of substance abuse in West Virginia. The campaign will feature television commercials, newspaper advertisements, outdoor advertising, and a website.
A series of two commercials were produced for the campaign. Pikewood was involved in creative development, production, post production (including special effects). One of the commercials features former WVU Football great Grant Wiley.
