As a founding member and Manager of Pikewood Creative, Tony Caridi is responsible for generating new business development, fostering client relationships, and directing the Pikewood team in its creative trajectory. With a passion for communicating, Tony’s goal is to develop innovative strategies through effective storytelling to help clients reach their potential.
Tony is a prominent figure in the collegiate sports world as the play-by-play announcer for the West Virginia University Mountaineers and host of his own nightly statewide sports radio talk show. He has done play-by-play for ESPN, Westwood One, the BIG EAST, Prime, and Atlantic 10 among others, and is the sports director for MetroNews Radio Network. Nearing 30 years in the business, Tony is a loved personality, a natural conversationalist, and an esteemed business leader. His ability to convey a story in fresh, exciting ways has allowed him to excel in diverse athletic and corporate environments.
Tony has earned prominent accomplishment awards such as West Virginia Sportscaster of the Year and Best Network Play-By-Play for Mountaineer Football by the West Virginia Broadcasters Association. As a professional public speaker, Tony expounds on topics ranging from sports to marketing and his personal observations on what leads to a successful team.
Hailing from Lockport, NY, Tony had a unique background in marketing, customer service, and communication from a young age, growing up in a family that owned a grocery store. He graduated from Syracuse University with a bachelor of science in broadcast journalism.
Tony lives in Morgantown with his wife and three sons. He enjoys reading current events and learning to play the banjo.
