Scott Koon is Pikewood Creative’s Senior Web Developer. He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and serves as lead developer on all of Pikewood’s web design projects.

Previously Scott served as the director of a software-testing laboratory for the United States Department of Defense and has nearly a decade of professional web development experience.

While the majority of Scott’s challenges require a technical focus, he feels strongly that personal contact is key to satisfied clients. To him, communication is fundamental when developing a product that exceeds a customer’s expectations.

Scott is known for generously volunteering his knowledge and skill to serve various nonprofits within his community. He also enjoys spending time with his family and playing softball. A native of Weston, WV, he holds a bachelor of science in computer science from West Virginia University.

Fun Fact: In 2011 Scott competed in the National Championship in the little-known sport of Irish Road Bowling.
