Pikewood Creative’s Interactive/Creative Director, Daniel Pauley, is responsible for business development and marketing, as well as video and interactive design/production. Daniel uses animation, motion graphics, and video to present his clients’ strengths in imaginative, compelling ways.
Daniel enjoys the challenge of staying innovative and relevant in a constantly changing industry, and believes that great design impacts business and society. While he is a leader in his field, he strives to build collaborative relationships with his clients so they can see their own ideas come to life.
Prior to joining Pikewood Creative, Daniel was the creative director at Booz Allen Hamilton where his duties included leadership and production work across a wide range of projects and initiatives including video production, animation, multimedia, web design, concept/requirements visualizations, site optimization, and usability. He has directed the creative teams of distinguished consulting and software firms and continually stays at the forefront of his trade because of his combined love for the arts and outstanding work ethic.
With over 15 years of industry experience, Daniel’s skill and artistry has been recognized by publications such as American Graphic Design Magazine. He has been honored multiple times with national awards for corporate image rebranding, and he is an Emmy winner and four-time nominee. He earned his bachelor of science in fine art and graphic design from Fairmont State University and his master’s in fine arts with a focus on computer graphics design, new media, and information technology at the Rochester Institute of Technology.
An outdoorsman at heart, Daniel enjoys spending time with his wife and three boys, fly-fishing, trail running, and visiting the mountains of Seneca Rocks, West Virginia.
